Lo Sloth Bear (Orso Labiato nonchè Melursus Ursinus) non si muove affatto lentamente come un bradipo ma deve il suo nome ai primi esploratori per la somiglianza al modo in cui i bradipi si aggrappano agli alberi. E le sue dimensioni ridotte per un orso, non lo rendono meno potente. Non va in letargo ma si rifugia nelle caverne dove la temperatura rimane più costante e si risveglia al tramonto per cercare cibo. Ho avuto la fortuna di vederlo sfamarsi grazie ad un pioggia che aveva rinfrescato nella stagione secca.

posa dell'orso buffa e simpatica, mi piace molto anche come si stacca dallo sfondo di vegetazione intricata che sembra quasi la cornice di arabeschi di certe miniature

Yes Midday sun is very harsh in Sri Lanka. In Yala Pro Photographers do not click between 9AM to 4PM due to harshness of the sun.

Lo so che sembra sole di mezzogiorno ma era quasi l'ora di chiusura del parco, alla sera ed è proprio questo che mi ha spiazzata: la luce incredibile ad ore in cui in altri continenti c'è la più collaborativa luminosità del tramonto...

E poi purtroppo se non sei un fotografo pro riconosciuto o con permessi che credo che per uno straniero sia davvero difficile se non impossibile ottenere, si deve prendere la via verso l'uscita (che comunque non è molto vicina alla zona con attività) quando ci sarebbe la luce giusta per fotografare. /

I know it sounds midday sun but it was almost closing time of the park in the evening and this is what puzzled me: the incredible light to other continents in hours when there is more collaborative brightness of the sunset .. .

And unfortunately if you are not a pro photographer recognized or allowed to believe that an alien is very difficult if not impossible to obtain, you have to take the path to the exit (which still is not very close to the area with activities) when would be the right light to take pictures. /
