Martin Pescatore

My first Martin sent on February 09, 2020 (18:06) by Olonic. 11 comments, 425 views. [retina]

at 440mm, 1/200 f/6.3, ISO 1000, tripod.

Alba, capanno mobile, treppiedi. Commenti e critiche sempre molto graditi. Un saluto.

I know how hard it is to find the martinin posing without you putting perches or chests on it, so if you've managed to run into it
walking for photo hunting in the martin: I tell you lucky day and definitely very gratifying for the hard work done; again congratulations!

Thanks Giocorso, it was not easy to locate him fortunately his call feels even at a distance so I could see what his favorite perches were and place the shed in close proximity to photograph it without using bait fish (practice that I absolutely abhor).
Thanks Satish for your analysis on my photo. Very appreciated.

:-o beautiful catch is definitely worth trying again, also because, as you have seen, the birds are very habitual, surely it has its own favorite perch and will always return to that, maybe study the light and try to always have it behind it, even in full light at -1/3, try to keep a diaphragm a little more closed to have more PDC, especially if you are close ...... will be fine
Compliments
