Castel Tures. Il maniero è dei primi del XIII secolo e sorge su un terrapieno roccioso bagnato dal torrente Ahr o Aurina. Qui l'originaria grande torre permetteva di controllare l'unico punto da cui era possibile un attacco nemico e al contempo consentiva, ai signori del castello, di esigere un pagamento per il passaggio nelle loro terre. I Taufers furono la prima famiglia del maniero e furono loro che edificarono il mastio vicino alla torre, che costituì la chiave di volta della struttura del castello. Il maniero fu in seguito ingrandito fra il 1484 e il 1486 da Hans von Tobel. Poi, nel XIV secolo, i Fieger, nuovi padroni del castello, su mandato dell'imperatore Massimiliano d'Austria, innalzarono l'ala sud-ovest. Ora però entrate e abbandonate la storia e la storia dell'arte, almeno per i primi dieci minuti. Appena avrete messo piede in questo castello sarete assaliti da una sensazione insolita e imprevista.
