It's a beautiful image, as minimal as I like it. I would have, in my own way, trimmed slightly down to get the horizon back into the first third of the frame. Congratulations Viola.

A ground covered with frost, a tree with dry branches and the first morning sun: another little wonder of yours, Purple... where "small" is not in a diminutive sense, but it means that it requires a sharp and sensitive eye to be seen, not the usual "wow effect" landscape that forces anyone to look, but an almost elementary picture that slips on the surface of thoughts and chores to be done for the most... apeiron reminds me, to name one, for the same familiarity in coming into contact with the eternal substance of things. The reference to the day of remembrance is also very pertinent: the sun is reborn above a clean slate where the signs of the past have been removed, except for the bare tree on the horizon, no longer alive but tenaciously rooted in the earth.
You're really good, Viola

I understand your observation, Marco: in fact I too was tempted to trim a part of the ground to comply with the rule of composition, but in the end I left it as I saw it because, in my opinion, it better represents the dichotomy between two opposing principles in competition: light and dark, good and evil, beginning and end, but with the possibility of a new beginning. I wanted to represent a moment of transition, so I left just a little more space to the sky and the rising sun.
Thank you so much for your careful reading and beautiful words Michele!
You fully understood my intent
Good day :-) purple

The earth is frozen, the tree no longer reaches the sky, it is folded in on itself, only the warmth of the sun at its rise warms the earth, as love could drive away the frost, which still still hatches in the hearts of men.
Good Purple!
A hug
Marisa

Buona serata!

A presto!

Hello Viola, beautiful thought in caption. You managed the backlight great and you were very good at finding such a peculiarity, I would say a wonderful composition rich in delicate and warm colors, very good a hundred times

Very significant image. That bare tree eloquently symbolizes that horrendous period. Don't forget. Congratulations Viola.
