In effetti, le protuberanze sul becco non si possono dir belle, ma l'uccello, con una apertura alare di oltre 3 metri, è veramente impressionante.
Nel Canyon del Colca, in Perù, vivono numerosi condor andini (e non solo) ed al loro passaggio, portati dalle termiche di fine mattina, si resta letteralmente a bocca aperta.
