A Napoli, Milano e Sanremo durante gli anni di servizio, ho avuto l'avventura di incontrare e intervistare quell'autentico e scanzonato signore che è Peppino di Capri. Scanzonato, perché è l'immagine fedele di una Napoli da manuale, un po' retrò che, ormai non esiste più Signore, perché è gentile, galantuomo, cavaliere con un rispetto della tradizione ineccepibile. Napoletano, perché la sua signorilità, il suo garbo e il suo romanticismo un po' bohemien, lo ritroviamo nel suo mare “caprese”, nelle sue canzoni, nella sua musica e nei profumi della terra che gli ha dato i natali. Ma perché racconto tutto questo? Ricordo che una volta mi fece vedere una cartolina della sua città: una veduta di una strada affollata in bianco e nero che contava parecchie primavere. A distanza di tanti anni, poco fa, capitando a Napoli, m'è parso di rivedere quella vecchia cartolina in questa strada, l'ho fotografata con la mia compatta, non è bella come quella vecchia foto, ma mi auguro vi restituisca un po' i colori di questa Napoli, da molti criticata, da altri osannata, ma senz'altro madre di tanti illustri personaggi che hanno fatto anche un po' la storia della cultura italiana. Magari la foto non vi piace, e la didascalia che l'accompagna nemmeno, ma non importa, per un momento, è stato bello identificarsi nel "sognatore" Di Capri e rubargli un po' del suo malinconico romanticismo. --------------------------------------------------------- Commenti e critiche sempre molto graditi.
