Alle spalle l'imponenza di Campo Imperatore rendeva quello scenario ancora più surreale. C'era qualcosa in quei gesti, in quella posizione che mi colpiva. Pensavo fosse merito della luce apocalittica dovuta al temporale sempre più imminente. Capii solo settimane dopo, quando riguardai la foto con occhi più attenti, che non si trattava di quello. Stavo assistendo alla nascita di un desiderio addirittura più forte di quello che si percepisce in un bambino nell'esatto istante anteposto allo scarto dei regali.
