Il Lago di Carezza si trova a 1.534 m s.l.m. ed è circondato dalle montagne del Catinaccio e del Latemar. Non ha immissari visibili ma è alimentato da sorgenti sotterranee che aumentano la magia e il mistero che lo circonda. La leggenda legata al lago è quella della bellissima ninfa Ondina che viveva nelle sue acque. Lo stregone che abitava il Latemar fece apparire un arcobaleno per attrarre la ninfa, che invece scappò e nessuno la vide più. Lo stregone, infuriato, gettò l'arcobaleno nel lago e da quel giorno nelle sue acque si rispecchiano tutti i colori dell'iride. Una statua di bronzo raffigurante Ondina è stata posta nel lago ad una profondità di circa tre metri e quando l'acqua si abbassa è possibile vederla riemergere.
