Ho visitato questa location diverse volte negli anni ma penso che non sono mai stato così fortunato come questa volta. Quella mattina mi sono avviato verso Acitrezza, in compagnia di mio cugino, ed una volta giunti sul posto potevamo già vedere tonalità rossastre nel cielo, quindi ci siam spostasti sulla costa per trovare le migliori composizioni possibili. Dopo un paio di minuti, il cielo diventò tutto rosso e quei colori particolari erano ideali per la scena che, inoltre, ho immaginato come lo scenario perfetto dell'ira del ciclope Polifemo contro Ulisse, come narrato nell'Odissea di Omero: il nome dell'arcipelago di Acitrezza deriva infatti dalla leggenda che i faraglioni sono le pietre che Polifemo ha lanciato contro Ulisse.
