Gardone Riviera (BS) Dal sito "Fondazione Il Vittoriale degli Italiani " uno dei luoghi più unici e straordinari del Vittoriale, testimonianza del genio e dell'originalità di Gabriele d'Annunzio. Una nave, incastonata nella collina all'interno del grande Parco che ospita la dimora del Vate, su un “pianoro proteso in forma di prua” verso il Lago e verso l'Adriatico. La prora della Nave Puglia, una delle protagoniste della Prima Guerra Mondiale, venne rimontata al Vittoriale tra il 1925 e il 1938, quando fu terminata la poppa, ricostruita in muratura. Un immenso reliquiario civile, con la grande polena in bronzo raffigurante la Vittoria dello scultore Renato Brozzi, il tempietto dedicato ai morti del mare collocato nel secondo albero e i cimeli di guerra, tra i quali alcuni modelli di navi, custoditi nella stiva. Alla nave si accede attraverso un percorso particolarmente suggestivo, che permette di apprezzare il Parco del Vittoriale: dall'ingresso del Museo, dopo essere giunti alla piazzetta antistante la Casa del Poeta, si imbocca il viale di Aligi, una breve salita che, attraverso camminamenti, si collega al ponte ligneo della poppa. Sospesi tra storia e mito, pronti a salpare verso l'orizzonte segnato dalle colline del Garda, tra i cipressi del Parco e i cannoni di guerra, sul ponte della nave si ha davvero la sensazione di trovarsi in un luogo inimitabile #acqua#laghi
