, 1/800 f/16.0, ISO 800, tripod.

Thank you Elio! Very nice
Macché timing! I had to do more than 5000 shots before finding a right explosion and still heavily edited into posts. Then added your finger. I had tried in one shot but after days spent making bubbles and bursting them and to relate to shots and still looping... I gave us to pile and joined 2 shots. It was, however, an essential image to explain the whole project/message

Thank you Louis!
live was better... the prints came great, all 40x60,small to my standard but the space was limited. I was exhibiting in the ancient halls of the Prefecture. the arrangement was studied with a curator, not linear.
is always a workman, meetings every week from August to April and meetings with the 3 tutors (writer, photographer, curator), not to mention the "particular" set-up and editing, but it was worth it.
maybe i'm going to publish a picture of the set-up...

when iPhone came out with the same backgrounds came to me I was struck by swear... but now I've been working on it for months and experimenting and buying equipment and I've been moving on

I guess you got a cuddle!!!
In fact, not everyone understands that behind a photo there is a work of research, study, evidence, failures and stubbornness; as in the landscape: night alarm clocks, hours of drive, trails of a few kilometers, and then maybe you do not bring home anything!
's why you deserve compliments.
Bravo

I agree with you... the landscaper is my first passion as you can see from my galleries, I know well what you are referring to ;-)

Okay, it seemed to me that to get an image like this, it takes equipment that captures images to many fps.
In your case it took a lot of perseverance and stubbornness and a bit of a post.
Still congratulations.

but even with a particular trigger you can't, except for 100,000 shots.
the problem is that explosions are almost never like this, often radial (horizontal).
better take a nice explosion and rotate it. ;-)
and it's a chore anyway.
