Hello I long ago I tried the d700 combination with afs 80/200 2.8 with two duplicaters mounted at the same time its dedicated 2x plus the kenko pro 2x with the result of having a 320 /800 f 16 , I made some freehand photos with good light at the maximum focal point and the image was well readable although a little soft.
So yours was made in better condition and with a more modern sensor and the result does not surprise me much.
Although I saw that you used an extremely slow and freehand good time.

@Domenic - Thank you, but the strangest thing is that the goal in question is made for the DX format and although it is mounted with 1.4x extender on FX does not vignette at all and but holds good sharpness.

After I have seen your photo and seen the results I also want to take that zoom to use both on dx and FF for travel where the weight and size of the 80/200 2.8 would cause me problems.

@Domenic - In fact the zoom in question costs relatively little, you find it new (Nital) to ca. 300 degrees and weighs a little more than a fixed... for excursions I would say it's ok.

@Arless - ok, but tell me what car you use.... The 1.4x multiplier can be found on Christmas offer at ca. 90 degrees.

I use a Canon EOS700D and a Canon EOS80D. I would use it with the TAMRON SP AF 70-300 F/4-5.6 VC USD mainly with daylight and for naturalistic photos. Some people tell me that Tamron doesn't work with the duplicator. Do you have any experience? Thank you. MM

@Maurizio Moretto - Works great with the tamron, I tried with both Nikon AND APS-C.
