E' da alcuni anni ormai che il peperoncino entra a far parte delle mie pietanze e lo uso
fresco, secco. Lo compro in un negozio di Pakistani, quello fresco piccantissimo che uso
quando cucino il pollo alla tailandese, al curry e in tante ricette orientali, perche',
come avrai capito, adoro cucinare e invento sempre anche se ho tantissimi ricettari e poi
ora che c'e' internet e' un caos, leggo e poi voila, faccio di testa mia.

Adoro questi barattolini di latta, mi ricordano la mia infanzia (sono nata negli States), mia mamma usava le spezie negli stessi barattolini. Alcuni li abbiamo portati con noi, quando siamo tornati in Italia, e li usiamo ancora per tenerci le stesse spezie (ovviamente più fresche, non quelle di 40 anni fa circa!)
Questa foto ha per me un potere evocativo, mi piace!
I love these tin pots, they remind me of my childhood (I was born in the U.S.), my mom used spices in the same pots. Some we took them with us when we returned to Italy, and we still use them to keep the same spices (obviously cooler, not those of 40 years ago!):-D:-D:-D

Che bello! Sono contenta che queste scatoline, che a me sono piaciute tantissimo, tu ne abbia addirittura a casa e che
le stiate usando ancora. Infatti il corredo che c'era dentro la casa dell'uomo del faro, se hai visto anche le altre,
risalevano a 50 o 60 anni fa.
Sono certa che guardando la foto hai sorriso, perche' io ho sorriso a leggere il tuo commento.
