Ciao,Roberto.

Thanks Michael, perhaps the only merit of the subject: the Potala exercises an indescribable charm, when you have it in front of you can not stop watching!
Hello, Robert.

Ciao Marco

Thanks Robert for this picture, you made me relive this feeling that my luck I tried several times, do you think the first time I saw him (1988) in front of a pond and there was so much peace around bicycles and monks.
Hello Marco

Triste
Ti ringrazio dell' attenzione e dell' apprezzamento.
Un saluto,Roberto.

Hello Marco, then you've been lucky enough to see a Tibet certainly more authentic than today, forcibly "Chinesized". Projects in Beijing and the Potala was to disappear, too uncomfortable and embarrassing, then fortunately they did not though, as you know, today the pond and the monks at his feet there is a multi-lane road, a piazza-style Chinese military. :-(
Thank you of 'attention and of' appreciation.
All the best, Roberto.

Ciao Marco

Hello Roberto in my old pictures I found this in the Potala Palace in 1988 the quality is so-so though was taken with the Hasselblad. Anyway there was a pond in front of s turned to walk away and there were cars on the palm of a hand, seem past 100 years, as it's easy to destroy a culture:

Ciao,Roberto.

Marco, thank you for sharing this document: the fact that the 1988 will increase its value as at that time there were very few Westerners who came to Tibet. You're absolutely right, unfortunately: it's easy to destroy a culture ...
Hello, Robert.

Ciao Roberto, grazie dell' apprezzamento...

For several years has been closed and barred to anyone, it is now possible to visit it.

Immagino.
Ciao
Walter

Well, 'a little' envy me must concede, does not happen to everyone to visit those places.
Beautiful picture, I wonder 'cause you cut at the base of the monastery, nothing good down there ... I guess.

Buona giornata.Roberto.

Hello Walter, thanks for the passage and commentary. The cut was forced because there were disturbing elements that otherwise would have remained within the frame.
Good giornata.Roberto.
