Saluti a tutti,
Pietro

Greetings to all,
are starting out and want me to be any criticism welcome!
The sunset was photographed in itself is very nice, what I "tried" to do was to cut part of the sky to fix the composition and slightly increase contrast and color saturation.
Thanks in advance to those who want to leave your opinion!
Peter

Lorenzo

if I tell you mine, beginner, I would have taken a little more sky and less land, because I have the feeling that there is a disproportionate ratio between foreground and sky, try to make a version in 16:9 could make even more 8-), nothing to say for the rest of the colors seem fine ;-)

Lorenz Hello and thanks for the comment,
my idea was to use the rule of thirds having the upper part of the sky is not too good.
The use of standard aspect ratios (such as 16:9, which now try to apply) I can, however, be very useful, especially with a view to produce prints! ... Or wrong? (I've never tried to make prints with different proportions than usual!)

Thanks to you Matt,
your photos and your suggestions are a great inspiration for me!

here is my own version, this is what I mean ;-)

this is identical to your cropped to 16:9 but maintaining the same height ;-)

What do you think?

ps. I would not have been misunderstood in my previous post, I am a beginner so I'm too novice especially on post-production, the rule of 4/3 is right for the tree in this case but not for the soil profile at least in my opinion but I could easily be wrong:-D

No misunderstanding Lorenz, indeed, have the opinion of others is just what I was hoping for! ... Like the 16:9 format is great and I like the two versions proposed in which the more prominent shaft and warm colors only that is going to lose the row of poles of the vineyard that was my favorite part of the picture! I think I'll try to get to the new format recovering a little 'sky cut above!
