L'altare rupestre di Santo Stefano prende nome dalla Chiesa di Santo stefano edificata nel 1492 situata di fronte. Risale probabilmente al neolitico ( 3500-1800 A.C.). L'altare è caratterizzato dalle nicchie di forma quadrata che simboleggiano delle false porte unione tra il mondo terreno e l'al di là ( utilizzato anche dagli Egizi e dagli etrschi) e le nicchie triangolari simboleggianti il cielo e la divinità. La parte cenrale ha due nicchie triangolari sovrapposte, dove alcuni archeologi teorizzano che fosse utilizzato per il parto di una donna probabilmente sacerdotessa figlia dello sciamano, in un rito sacro.
