Thank you for the comments to the photo
The light of dawn was very intense so much so that the edge on the right at the bottom is gone overexposure as well as of course all the lights of the village.
a greeting from Sandro

Beautiful seized the moment, drifting in This aurora is truly spectacular!
Xò the photo itself, to me, says absolutely nothing ... wow!
absolutely do not want to create controversy, I'm here to learn ... x propio x I would like to ask those who say that this shot is from global contest what is beautiful.
The composition? The roofs of the city? Aurora?
Let me understand, not without controversy and accusations of "high stool", please!
I would understand ....

Beautiful picture, congratulations for the readiness and skill.
Volpy: I'm not sure the dell'elit therefore take my explanation as simple impressions of a user, in this shot, there are several things that I like is:
First, I hit the bottom edge of the dawn as marked as if it were the "trimmings" of a beautiful tent. Then I like the composition, more specifically, I like the effect formed tube dawn + clouds + mountain centered on the country as if to show the sky above it.
Finally, a more personal and 'the sense of admiration and envy as healthy as a photographer I'm slow, it needs time to compose and think about all aspects (which in fact sometimes escape me), therefore, feel that in less than a minute Titino be able to make up the large, regularparticular sensitivity, time and maybe even focus aroused in me the emotions expressed above.
Then of course everyone has their tastes on sacrosanct.

Surely, as I wrote first in my previous comment, Titino resumed aurora fabulous, this curve is dvvero spectacular!
I think that the 66 users (currently) who clikkato the "I like" were attracted to this.
But I want to understand this is propio: users like the aurora or dawn photo?
Propio the composition does not mean anything to me, I would have definitely preferred a shot pointed at the sky to catch the majesty of the aurora, compositionally playing with that pipe you say Picenin ... the country does not mean anything to me.
My eye will stop only on the sky (point). The shot, however, is global competition seems!.
Forget the emotions described under the photo.

The comment is not accusatoryI repeat, is to understand and to discuss (peacefully) photography.
