Versante nord del Weissmies (m.4.023). La via di salita percorre il ghiacciaio tra seracchi tanto spettacolari quanto poco rassicuranti....l'ambiente però è veramente spettacolare e merita tanti scatti. Qua ho ripreso due alpinisti davanti a noi, intenti a inoltrarsi nel labirinto di seracchi. Elaborazione con Nik Silver Efex. Buona visione!

Grazie Marco, lieto che ti piaccia anche tutta la galleria.
@anonimous_cocullo: ho salito questa cima lungo lo stesso percorso ben 15 anni prima e il ghiacciaio era cambiato in tutto. Questi seracchi che vedi non si attraversavano, il ghiacciaio era molto più panciuto e con seraccate imponenti dalle quali si stava lontani, passando a destra e, tranne un crepaccio difficile da superare, si sbucava subito sui pendii sommitali.
Ora si deve attraversare questo labirinto di seracchi e crepacci che, per quanto siano spettacolari, possono essere pericolosi. Quest'estate hanno chiuso questa via di salita per due settimane...per rischio crolli.
Riassumendo, i ghiacciai delle Alpi sono ancora imponenti ma il riscaldamento globale c'è e andando in montagna lo vedo di anno in anno...avanza inesorabile.
Poi a chi dare la colpa è un altro discorso...personalmente credo che la terra stia attraversando un periodo di forte riscaldamento, successivo a quello precedente più freddo...ma noi le stiamo dando una mano, con inquinamento e sfruttando tutto ciò che possiamo...
