Berlino 09 novembre 1989: "Cade" il muro della... vergogna. Sono trascorsi 30 anni da quell'epico evento che ha "segnato" la storia contemporanea. Mi è sembrato giusto, nella ricorrenza del trentesimo anniversario, ricordare, perché ricordare è importante per cercare di non ripetere gli errori (stavo per scrivere "orrori") del passato, quella che è stata una delle più tristi e sconcertanti pagine di storia che hanno sconvolto l'Europa intera e... non solo. Per questa ragione ho scelto di pubblicare questa mia immagine, di un murales che ho fotografato qualche anno fa, in quella parte dei "resti" del muro che adesso costituiscono la "East Side Gallery" (la più grande galleria di arte all'aperto) e che fa riferimento alla "migrazione" di famiglie intere a bordo di decine e decine di "Trabant", la "vetturetta" utilitaria simbolo della Berlino dell'Est, attraverso i varchi che, nella notte del 09 novembre 1989, si aprirono verso l'occidente e verso la... libertà.
