Il monastero di Koziba detto anche monastero di San Giorgio in Koziba è un edificio religioso greco-ortodosso risalente al VI secolo d.C. Eretto su tre livelli sul versante roccioso settentrionale del deserto di Giuda (Wadi el-Kelt), a circa 9 km da Gerico e a circa 20 km da Gerusalemme. Il monastero è immerso nella lussureggiante valle del Wadi Qelt, fu fondato nel 420 d.C. da cinque eremiti. Fu costruito accanto alla grotta dove il profeta Elia si fermò in rotta dal Sinai e fu nutrito dai corvi. Numerosi eremiti che abitavano nelle caverne vivevano qui a imitazione del grande profeta. Il monastero fu abbandonato dopo che i Persiani spazzarono la valle nel 600 d.C. e massacrarono 14 monaci. Fu nuovamente restaurato dai Crociati nel 1179 d.C.
