I think you've been a little too hasty in identifying, it's about the image with a good guide to the hand.

To the horse: I thank you for the call for prudence.
I have consulted more than one good guide and I believe that identification is reliable but since the error is always possible I would be really grateful if you gave me a credible alternative.

In my opinion it is a small Luì!

Personally, I consider your hypothesis highly unlikely.

The non-detail, the burnt lights, the uncertain maf and the saturated-atherated colors complicate the identification a lot.
x the dark liu that nests in East Asia ... a dozen cases spotted in recent years in Italy, 1 case in Romania in 2018 but....
... The dark lio however should be dark, with no yellowish areas in the underwing and at the top
The coarse lio has light paws so it is excluded
The small lio is therefore the most likely 8-)
(imho)
Can I ask you what percentage of crop you applied?
To understand the non-detail you were freehand or did you use a monopod ? In the latter case with what head?
Don't you want to use an extender?

In Elleemme: in Peterson's "Guide of the Birds of Europe" et all, the reddish appearance of the eyebrow is noted.
in "Birds of Europe" in Bruun, the rust-colored sub-gola and lower parts on the sides are noted.
In my opinion the image does not lack detail.
I repeat, as written in the technical data, that the photo was taken freehand.

I got feedback from industry experts and the summary result I set out above. Sorry but really here, on an objective level, the subject lacks detail and the concause_ipotesi are those indicated. If you do not like the use of tripod with gimbal we can fall back on the use of a solid and light monopod with T&S head, if we are used to supercropping maybe it is the case to take advantage of a good 1.4x extender ... there is room for improvement but new strategies need to be adopted in the recovery ;-) . (Imho) . Hello, lauro
