Nuova lente: invidioso di quelli che hanno gli f 1.4, per 50 euro ho comperato uno splendido Nikkor-S 50 mm f 1,4 del 1972/73 settima serie con le divine lenti color ambra, dal noto negozio italiano di materiale usato, con 1 anno di garanzia. Il prezzo basso era dato dalle condizioni piuttosto disastrate: internamente era pieno di residui neri che scorrazzavano liberi, probabile residuo di una malaccorta conversione casalinga in AI, e le lenti erano state intaccate da un'antica muffa ed esternamente presentava incrostazioni e patine varie. Smontato completamente, in un paio d'ore lo abbiamo rimesso a N-U-O-V-O con un'attacco chimico a base di Acetone 100%, benzia avio e alcool isopropilico 99%. Lubrificati anche gli elicoidi con grasso rosso, ha riacquistato l'antico smalto e la vellutata messa a fuoco. Le muffe hanno intaccato parzialmente gli strati di antiriflesso, ma si tratta di pecche estetiche, dato che in foto non si vede alcunchè. Il diaframma era perfettamente funzionante. Ora posso anch'io fare il fico e andare a fotografare di notte a mano libera ! Nella foto, a ore 11 la lente anteriore con l'anello esterno, a ore 13 il primo doppietto collato, a ore 17 il barilotto esterno con gli elicoidi, il selettore dei diaframmi e la mia gentile assistente Olga, a ore 19 il gruppo interno con il diaframma, il secondo doppietto collato e le ultime due lenti. Notare gli attrezzi per lo smontaggio dell'obiettivo e i cacciaviti a passo giapponese indispensabili per non rovinare i maledetti grani microscopici con testa a taglio delle vecchie lenti Nikon.
