Era un gelido mattino presto e mentre mi recavo per un'escursione fotografica nel centro storico in una viuzza la luce dei lampioni accarezzava le pietre calcaree, rese vive e senza tempo dal mio obiettivo. Camminando lungo il vicolo stretto, l'occhio si perdeva tra le texture ruvide dei muri, i balconcini in ferro battuto e le timide piante rampicanti che si aggrappavano alle facciate. L'aria era intrisa di una nostalgia palpabile. Al centro della scena, una scalinata invitava a salire, ma a catturare l'attenzione erano le scritte, le poesie che ornano i muri del borgo, una caratteristica iconica del luogo. Questi versi, impressi nella pietra, sussurravano storie e amori, trasformando un semplice scorcio urbano in una pagina di letteratura a cielo aperto. Il fotografo, con la sua sensibilità artistica e la profonda conoscenza della sua terra, ha saputo cogliere l'anima di questo angolo di Puglia. La composizione sapiente, i contrasti drammatici e l'uso espressivo del monocromo hanno generato un'immagine che non è solo una fotografia, ma un'emozione, un ritratto autentico dell'identità pugliese, dove architettura, poesia e vita quotidiana si fondono in un abbraccio silenzioso. Le frasi sono scelte per ispirare, far riflettere o semplicemente emozionare i passanti. Si va da autori noti come Mark Twain ("Questo luogo è stato creato prima del paradiso") a versi anonimi e pensieri originali. Nicola Lamanna è un fotografo locale profondamente legato al suo territorio, che ritrae con grande passione e sensibilità. Per Lamanna, la fotografia non è solo uno scatto digitale, ma un processo mentale ed emotivo. Nelle sue opere, cerca di inserire un elemento fondamentale: l'emozione che prova di fronte al paesaggio.
