La natura ha fatto gran parte del lavoro, e qualsiasi buon fotografo avrebbe ottenuto questo risultato, o molto meglio, lavorando in studio o all'aperto usando pannelli riflettenti per ammorbidire le ombre e faretti led per indirizzare le luci. Questa foto è stata scattata all'aperto, al Salone dell'auto di Torino, in un'ora infame, le 3 del pomeriggio, ed in mezzo al caos totale. Usando un forte teleobiettivo sono stato costretto a posizionarmi molto distante dalla ragazza e, quindi, decine e decine di persone si intromettevano tra me ed il soggetto, rovinando l'inquadratura o non permettendomi di scattare. Poi per pochissimi secondi il miracolo che ha cambiato in maniera favorevole la situazione. La ragazza si è spostata di pochi metri lateralmente, cosi è stata protetta da un tendone che ha ammorbidito la dura luce del sole. Per un attimo nessuno si è inserito tra il mio obiettivo e la modella. Nello stesso istante la mia Frine (chissà perché la chiamo così, forse perché Frine era la modella ed ispiratrice dello scultore Prassitele?) si è girata guardando verso di me e, con un piccolo vezzo, si è arricciata i capelli. La fortuna mi ha baciato, torno a casa soddisfatto. La foto è stata scattata al Salone dell'Auto di Torino il 9 giugno 2018.
