at 22mm, 1/2000 f/16.0, ISO 1600, hand held. Rainbow Mountain , Peru.

#arcobaleno #rainbow

Nice photo, though why the time of 1/2000? Couldn't you have lowered the time and with it also the iso sensitivity? Thank you.

Thank you friends... it was an UNFORGETTABLE experience!!!
Tanod3 you're right... why did I prefer ultra-fast times at the expense of iso? (although 1600iso for the D810 are very little thing)
Because I got to the top of 5100mt with severe oxygen deficiency, I was sick... I had tingles in my hands, and the state of the sensor altered (in short, the classic altitude sickness)... so better to have quick times 8-) ;-)
Good day
Fabio

Lovely place, despite the excellent time the yield also for the rarefaction of the air. Congratulations

Thank you Alexander... eh yes at 5000mt the rarefaction is felt, but even more my legs really reach the limit :-D
Unfortunately these mountains are not visitable until 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., most tourists arrive at dawn and at 10.30am are already back... I do not recommend, apart from the number of people disturbing the landscape, the best light (paradoxically) is at 12.00...
Thanks again

A place I marked on the agenda together from the Ausangate trek.
Overview without the excesss of saturation that are often seen for this location.
But take away a curiosity: you've arrived 4600 meters by car. on the day?
If you're crazy, I think you're sick.
