I did Syracuse (Noto,Marzamemi,Ortigia) - Taormina (Etna and Gole alcantara) - Cefalu - Trapani (Saline,Erice and Favignana) and finally Scopello (Tonnara and Gypsy Reserve) all in 11 days for this I decided to leave the metropolitan cities of Palermo and Catania to an upcoming visit maybe not in August 8-)
