Tendiamo a dare un nome a ciò che amiamo e così ho chiamato Irma questa splendida femmina di rinoceronte nero. Ci siamo date "appuntamento" per diversi giorni, allo stesso posto, alla stessa ora. Eravamo diventate "amiche". I rinoceronti sono molto territoriali, al punto che, se devono essere ricollocati altrove, i loro escrementi, depositati sempre nello stesso posto, vengono raccolti per giorni e giorni e portati nella nuova destinazione che così sentiranno come "casa". Questa loro territorialità li rende anche facilmente individuabili dai bracconieri...
