Una rocambolesca giornata mi ha portato, in serata, a Taormina. Mi affaccio da piazza IX aprile per godermi uno spettacolare panorama. Scatta l'idea di fotografarlo. Avrei voluto utilizzare tempi più lunghi ma non avevo cavalletto e la ringhiera dove mi sono appoggiato vibrava per la presenza di numerosissime persone. Così, dopo vari tentativi, sono riuscito a portare a casa uno scatto che mi soddisfacesse. Numerose imbarcazioni parecchio costose riempivano lo specchio d'acqua tra Taormina e Giardini Naxos (il primo porto a sinistra). Immediatamente sopra, la città illuminata è Catania. A destra in alto invece, sua maestà Etna.
