Questo scatto mi ha ricordato un libro che ho letto molti anni fa, "Scautismo per ragazzi" di Baden Powell. Questo libro si divide in chiaccherate al fuoco di bivacco e l'autore, come dice lui stesso, ha condensato in queste "chiaccherate" i sui pensieri per trasmettere le sue esperienze e aiutare i giovani a diventare uomini di cui ci si può fidare, che non mancheranno al loro dovere, gai e allegri capaci di affrontare le difficoltà. Il fuoco ha sempre avuto questo magnetismo e nelle famiglie di un tempo, la sera, attorno al calore del camino i ragazzi ascoltavano le parole di chi non aveva più molto tempo e aveva una vita da tramandare. Nell'era così isterica e diversa dei telefonini guardo con grande nostalgia questo fuoco, contento di vedere che quando non c'è campo e il tempo magicamente rallenta allora le persone tornano ad essere importanti e si torna a comunicare senza avere la necessità di farlo attraverso un freddo dispositivo elettronico.
