What to say, excellent shot in every respect. Super detail on both the subject (and that subject!) and on the perch (if I'm not mistaken did you focus stacking?). As always surgical sharpness of the trust tammy and blurred very pleasant. I really like the atmosphere from the early lights of dawn that caresses the Macaone :)

Thanks Ema, I had forgotten to point out that I did a METICULOUS manual focus stacking, decidedly masochistic practice, considering the complicated interweaving of the perch chosen by me.

Why is the perch dry and she's wet?

Lello, Salvatore, Corrado, Nadia, Davide, I thank you very much for paying attention to my modest photography (who knows how many macaons there are on Juza!).
MarcoCB: I had the butterfly moved on a perch that I chose that wasn't wet.

To be your first macaon I would say an excellent result considered a focus stacking with a not-so-ideal perch. Unfortunately, this species hasn't shown much this year.

Technically, at the shooting level, it is necessary to make both the image and the author a hat.
Of course, creating a fs on such a perch is masochist's, but the suffering you felt in the end rewarded you.

Gigi, Manrico, Infas, thank you!
Thank you Pigi... the choice of perch was instinctive: "Now I make him lay on this nice big flower so he will have a lot of space on which to rest his paws"... a few hours later, sitting at the computer: "PORCA MISERIA!!!" :-D

You made a technically flawless shot. Excellent sharpness and very nice perch that looks made especially for macaon. The background is also gorgeous. Congratulations. Hello.

Thank you Lucio.
I had to blur the natural background because I'm not able to make a decent artificial background :-D

Thank you for responding to my comment. Your background is perfect. It goes on like this and forgets the possibility of creating artificial backgrounds, which you see a kilometer away and do, at least in my opinion, penalty. Hello. Lucio.

A nice composition....
I would have avoided focus stacking, in my opinion always superfluous for this type of shots where the unique shot is more than enough to have the subjects perfectly filmed (all in focus of the elaborate perches in my opinion flattens and is not a nice see). Of course in this case the cumbersome blurred close-up would have disturbed, I would have opted for a different perch ;-)
