si ci sono stato in un lungo viaggio attraverso India e Nepal alla fine del 1988  con le Nikon e un centinaio di rulli...tutto il viaggio fatto con mezzi di trasporto occasionali, improbabili bus lungo le gole con la strada che passa alta sul dirupo e alle volte capita di vedere giù in fondo un bus uguale a quello sul quale stai viaggiando distrutto dalla caduta nel precipizio, oppure il passaggio a tutta velocità sugli strettissimi ponti Bailey ricostruiti dalle milizie perchè i guerriglieri hanno fatto saltare quelli veri...o viaggiando per ore e ore di giorno e di notte sulle dure panche di legno di un treno indiano, rigorosamente a vapore, stracarico di gente e animali di ogni tipo, ma puntuale come un orologio svizzero con il venditore di tè che urla "chai chai"...lo sguardo sulla gente, nei campi, alla luce del tramonto o dell'alba in un mix di calore e odore di spezie...
