Lo sapevate che i corni del rinoceronte sono fatti di cheratina, come le unghie e i capelli: quindi, se rimossi, possono ricrescere. In alcune riserve africane i corni vengono tagliati appositamente dai veterinari per evitare che l'animale costituisca una preda appetibile per i bracconieri, che pur di impossessarsi dei corni in genere lo uccidono.
