Sul lato di una dritta strada alberata nella frazione di Casatico di Marcaria (MN) si trova l'osteria Due platani, una casupola che, probabilmente, nel passato era utilizzata dai custodi del palazzo adiacente e dove il tempo sembra essersi fermato. Gli anziani nel locale bevono lambrusco o “bianchino”, scrutano i nuovi arrivati e le rare macchine di passaggio, qui vigono altre regole rispetto al vivere moderno, meglio esprimersi in dialetto in un clima di semplicità e cordialità. All'interno l'osteria è rustica, ospitale e sopratutto originale con tavoli di legno e un camino con stemma araldico, proprio dietro al bancone. Patria del maiale, zona d'eccellenza del salame mantovano, occasione per fare merenda con focaccia calda e salumi, posto magico che allieta l'aperitivo in un clima tranquillità all'ombra di pioppi e platani.
