Durante un safari in barca, mi stavo dedicando a fotografare un gruppo di elefanti, quando mia moglie mi avvisa "guarda che qui dietro dicono ci sia un aquila posata sulle rive". Praticamente nell'istante che mi è servito per girarmi era già decollata e non mi ero nemmeno reso conto che avesse fra gli artigli una preda (direi mezza preda), non avevo le impostazioni necessarie all'inseguimento ho provato a metterle al volo e purtroppo sono riuscito a beccarla proprio mentre stava per uscire dalla mia visuale. Per questo sono stato costretto a questo genere di crop, ma volevo comunque testimoniare la potenza e l'efficacia di questo magnifico rapace.
