Un momento di uno dei tradizionali “tsechu”, festival popolari-religiosi nel Bumthang nel cuore del Butan. In Bhutan ogni mese dell'anno porta con sé un momento di festa: che si tratti di un gesto di ringraziamento, di una richiesta di benedizione o di una danza per la purificazione dell'anima, l'assoluta e profonda partecipazione della popolazione locale a questi eventi rende il Paese un angolo ancora profondamente autentico e sincero del nostro mondo. I "Tshechu" sono suggestivi festival in cui la popolazione locale si riunisce per assistere ai "cham", le spettacolari danze a ritmo di percussioni e trombe, in cui gli interpreti indossano maestosi e coloratissimi abiti coperti sul volto da tradizionali maschere in legno, cartapesta o bronzo... uno spettacolo per gli occhi!
