Hello Francesco, I see that you are always active and you were the first to comment on the photo of this fearsome predator that, unfortunately for them, eats its prey alive. Thank you and wish you a good day, hello Fabrizio

It's the first time I've seen a picture of this magnitude. I think it's unique. Congratulations.

Hello Peter, I happened more than once to see this scene with grasshoppers, with the butterfly makes the most impression because we consider it a more beautiful insect. This shot, taken from below, actually makes the whole idea of the drama of the event, the poor butterfly squeezed between the hooked legs and the fact that the mantis is devouring it still alive. Nature is sometimes cruel, but only out of necessity. Thank you, a dear greeting, hello Fabrizio

What an amazing sight - the butterfly looks as if he is being strangled! Congratulations for the moment captured but also for the skill in focusing so well!

Hello Ann, it's true as you say you seem to be strangling her, the paws of the mantis have inside the hooks and when she grabs the prey for her there is no more escape. Thank you, a dear greeting, hello Fabrizio
