Stavo fotografando un paesaggio come tanti, in riva a un lago, quando mi ha colpito quell'intreccio di foglie e rami appena sotto la superficie dell'acqua, la mia ombra è stata una conseguenza naturale, ma che nel contesto non mi sembrava sfigurasse, anzi…..dava quell'incertezza del titolo.
Diane Arbus diceva: "Non ho mai ottenuto uno scatto così come volevo: è sempre venuto migliore o peggiore."
E' esattamente quello che ho fatto io, non sapevo minimamente cosa sarebbe venuto fuori alla fine, forse sarebbe uscito una schifo di foto, ho la presunzione di dire che è una delle mie foto che preferisco.
