In questa mia fotografia due figure si stagliano, dando le spalle all'osservatore, su una terrazza panoramica che si affaccia sul mare cupo. Si tratta di una delle balconate iconiche di Polignano a Mare. La scena è dominata dal contrasto tra la solidità della struttura in pietra bianca la balconata, e la vasta, tumultuosa distesa del mare Adriatico, sferzato da un cielo cupo e carico di nubi temporalesche. I colori freddi e cupi del cielo e del mare accentuano un senso di inquietudine e sospensione. La luce fioca e diffusa, che filtra a fatica tra le nuvole minacciose, crea un'atmosfera drammatica e riflessiva. Le due persone, con i loro abiti scuri, diventano quasi delle silhouette che osservano silenziose un orizzonte incerto.
