Rivedere il grande Ted Horowiz mi riporta sempre indietro nel tempo...!!! Sorriso

La prima volta che venne in tour Italia, lo portò un grande amico promoter che purtroppo non è più tra noi... Carlo Carlini con la sua grande passione ci permesso di ascoltare centinaia di grandi artisti... tra i quali Popa Chubby... ;-)

Correva l'anno 1996 se non erro, toccò a me tenerlo a battesimo nella sua prima data....
Carlo ai tempi non aveva grandi mezzi e attrezzature ( Che erano impegnate con i Lose Diamonds in un altra data... ) e si prese accordo con dei ragazzi per aprire la serata e usare poi la loro strumentazione....
Il problema fu che questa "strumentazione"... era veramente moooolto "sottodimensionata"... Triste

Il mio primo pensiero fu.... adesso si incaxxa...!!! MrGreen

E puntualmente fu quello che successe...!!! MrGreen

All'epoca era veramente grande e grosso e l'aria, quando scese dal pulmino, bella "truce"... tanto che temetti per la mia incolumità...!!! MrGreen

Alla vista dell'ampli di dimensioni "lillipuziane" tirò una serie di improperi alla fine dei quali sali sul pulmino e se ne tornò in albergo...!!!! Confuso

Partirono allora le telefonate alla ricerca di qualcosa di "serio" tra tutti gli amici musicisti al termine delle quali arrivò un bel "Fenderone" e un ampli da basso.... grosso come un armadio...!!! MrGreen

Paola lo convinse a tornare e su quella spiaggia si svolse poi una serata memorabile...!!! Cool

Fu cosi che diventammo amici e rimase cosi entusiasta del calore del pubblico... che volle a tutti i costi suonare anche la sera dopo prima dei Lose Diamonds...!!! MrGreen
