GG

Seems to want to greet the world and leave ... with the palace in the distance ....
However, you may clone the balloon with its bright yellow immediately strikes the eye? If then ten to straighten a bit 'vertical of the building is made. (Smentiscimi well without mercy, in this technicist vision of the thing ...)
Many, many wishes for a peaceful and duemilattredici 'sensitive' ... GG

There toglierei a bit of rumoricchio and I would give a little more light and shade to sculpture .... ;-)

Buona giornata, Lully

First thank GG and Caeruleaglacies for the visit and then tell you mine.
I just started doing PP with a program to'' free'', so 'are
novice and this photo if you control GG 'already raddirizzata, see
the roof of the building and for the sculpture I have given only
contrast, 'cause nothing I can do. The day was dark and rainy and
I had good light and I'm still not able to improve more 'much.
If you want to give me tips for learning, thank you in advance.
Good day, Lully

As for photo editing program that can, many times, equal to PS recommend GIMP is free .... ;-)

There is a story about that statue .... it is said is not historically certain but probable .. ...
The gesture of the statue is a gesture of protection .. how to defend against the "probable" collapse of the tower of the church above ...
In fact, the statue was designed by Bernini .. the bell tower by Borromini .. and as we know between the two there was bad blood ...
that the gesture is a mockery of his contemporary and competitor ...

Hello Daniel

In this regard, I also posted a photo that illustrates this story ...

Lully

Hello Daniel, I'm honest but I did not remember this anecdote. The title and I 'came
spontaneous, looking at the picture.

I renew to you the best wishes for a good 2013

Ciao
Max

Quoto Daniel, is a picture of the Fountain of the Four Rivers in Piazza Navona (the Eternal City) ...
The old students of the history of art and architecture, always remember with pleasure this anecdote on the main texts.
