In autunno il carso si presenta con i colori del sommaco , che è una pianta tipica di questa zona , che colora tutto di rosso e arancio , siccome in questo luogo durante la 1 e 2 guerra mondiale si svolsero aspri combattimenti dove morirono migliaia di soldati , italiani austriaci e tedeschi , quando vedo questi colori penso sempre che la natura dia un tributo colorando tutto di rosso , come il sangue versato da tutti questi uomini x far si che non venga dimenticato il sacrificio di tante persone morte x liberare la propria patria dall'invasore
