Dall' auto. Ero appostato in macchina ai bordi di un prato incolto appena fuori città. Precedentemente avevo già visto e fotografato alcuni gheppi cacciare grilli talpa appostandosi su alberelli ai bordi del prato. Sento un rumore alle spalle e vedo sbucare dai cespugli ai bordi della strada questo gheppio femmina con il becco ancora sporco di sangue , probabilmente di un piccolo roditore appena predato. Giusto il tempo di girarmi e scattare senza neanche poter ridurre la focale. L' unico scatto accettabile perchè è subito volata via.
