Hello Marco, congratulations great achievement! By the way, just that night I was at a star party and I was lucky enough to watch Jupiter through a C11... At around 10 p.m. you could see the shadow of Io that was positioned right above one of Jupiter's dark bands: a very fascinating sight! I would like to ask you: were your photos taken at a time after the passage of the shadow of Io on Jupiter? Daniel Ciao Marco, complimenti ottima realizzazione! Grazie, Daniele

Hello Daniel, thank you very much for the appreciation and I apologize for the delay in responding to you. It's just like you say, I filmed around midnight, when the transit of I had already taken place. In all honesty I was not aware of the transit otherwise I would have started earlier instead of lingering in the pizzeria with two friends astronomers ;-) I waited until midnight for Jupiter (which has a very southern declination) to be at the highest point of its apparent trajectory, so that it would come out of the lower layers of the atmosphere that worsen the quality of the shooting. That night the seeing was unusually good and the two conditions together allowed the little C6 to express itself at its best :-D A good greeting Mark Ciao Daniele, ti ringrazio molto per l'apprezzamento e mi scuso per il ritardo nel risponderti.
