La Seven venne costruita dalla Lotus dal 1957 al 1973 con diverse tipologie di motori ma tutti di derivazione Ford. Nel 1960 venne allestita la 2° serie... visibile un questa fotografia. In totale vennero prodotti circa 2500 esemplari, dopodiché la produzione passò alla Caterham che originariamente era la concessionaria della Lotus in Gran Bretagna. Questa fotografia venne scattata sulle Colline Bolognesi, originariamente a colori, in un tardo pomeriggio e con il cielo molto nuvoloso e cupo. Ne uscì un'immagine non eccezionale che però a me piaceva. Così per "macherare" i colori molto attenuati la ho trasformata in bianco e nero e le reso delle tonalità poco contrastate che ricordano certe fotografie monocromatiche che si vedevano in un tempo passato sui giornali quotidiani. Per i motivi sopra descritti la fotografia qui sopra riportata non ha nessuna pretesa di essere valutata artisticamente in quanto ha solo scopo documentativo.
