Questa fotografia fu scattata durante il Gran Premio di San Marino tenutosi nell'ultima settimana di aprile del 1991 sul Circuito del Santerno intitolato ad Enzo e Dino Ferrari. Qui Eric Van De Poele... dopo essere partito dalla 21° posizione... ottenne il suo miglior piazzamento della stagione giungendo 9° a 4 giri dal vincitore Ayrton Senna... in quanto rimasto senza benzina. L'altra Lambo 291... la n. 34 condotta da Nicola Larini... non era partita poiché non aveva superato le prequalifiche del venerdì.
