Bosa - Sa Costa Dal castello Malaspina che domina Bosa, scendendo lungo le pendici del colle, per le stradine, si attraversa il vecchio quartiere Sa Costa uno dei pochi centri storici feudale in Sardegna rimasti intatti nel corso dei secoli. Sa Costa è quella che, iniziando dal castello, si estende fino a via del Carmine la sua origine risale al lontano XIII secolo. Sa Costa è costituito da quattro vie principali (via Ultima Costa, via Muruidda che sfocia in Via Montenegro, via Serravalle che sfocia in via Portella e via Sant'Ignazio e Via del Carmine), queste seguono le curve altimetriche del colle e da più viottoli acciottolati, con scalinate in trachite che ne interrompono il percorso orizzontale. Sa Costa è delimitata da due lunghe scalinate chiamate S'Iscala Longa (La Scala Lunga) a ovest in prossimità di Piazza Carmine e S'Iscala e sa Rosa ( La Scala della Rosa) ad est a cui si accede da Piazza Episcopio. Gli edifici variopinti, hanno una struttura elementare, sono disposti verticalmente a schiera, orientate verso Nord, hanno spesso un ambiente per piano con una scala interna ripidissima, alcuni vani sono costruiti sotto la roccia e generalmente erano adibiti a servizio igienico, cantina, ricovero per l'asino, la cucina con il forno per la preparazione del pane si trovava all'ultimo piano, ogni casa possiede in genere due ingressi posti su due livelli traslati: uno sulla strada a monte, l'altro su quella a valle, i portali in trachite rosa recano spesso numerosi motivi simbolici e fregi.
