Very nice gabi, lighting is a bit harsh and from the side of the fox, but still very nice, better BG and full body shot, would have made it even better, complements benny |

Thank you for an advice! I tried to change my position to get the front light on the cubs but the foxes get used to me sitting always in the same place and they seemed stressed so I eventually got back there. And I agree I would also prefer the whole puppy in the frame for this one when I think about it now. |

hi gabi, as wildlife photographers what most important is not to stressed our " ,models " we shoot wildlife for saving wildlife and not for stressing them, so you must be camouflage completely when you work, and give the proper distance from you to your subject , to make them behave natural , culm, and for composition .
also you need to learn to clean noise from BG and for ground selectively in Photoshop, it not always easy, but it important. you can see in you tube many tutorial video .
always keep the sun behind you, unless artistically you want back light or side light .

Benny, I really appreaciate all of your insightful comments. Obviously animals well-being is always the most important - this is why I resinged from a better position as soon as I noticed the slightest change in the cubs behaviour but as a result the light on this photography isn't the most favorable. I always wear camouflage when I photograph and it is enough for those foxes to play around absolutely unbothered. I will take a look at turtorials for sure! |
