Non c'è traccia dell'uomo nella valle delle Gole, un canyon naturale incastrato nelle Madonie vivo di turismo tra sport fluviali, escursioni, naturismo e botanica. Incastonate nel fondo di una valle boscosa e silenziosa, le Gole di Tiberio sono uno degli angoli più belli e nascosti del Parco delle Madonie. Chiamate anche “U' Miricu”, per via di una leggenda legata alla capacità di questo punto di inghiottire tutto quello che si trova nel letto del fiume e trasportarlo a mare, le gole sono il frutto del lavorio millenario delle acque del Fiume Pollina, che ha scavato uno spettacolare canyon.
