La cascata del Catafurco si trova in Sicilia all'interno del Parco dei Nebrodi nel territorio di Galati Mamertino, in provincia di Messina. Si tratta di una cascata naturale che si forma in corrispondenza di un dislivello di circa 30 metri lungo il corso del torrente San Basilio. Alla base della cascata le acque si raccolgono in una cavità naturale, scavata nella roccia, chiamata Marmitta dei Giganti. Per arrivare alla cascata bisogna percorrere una valle fluviale, attraversando tipici villaggi di pastori, passando piccole sorgenti montane, per finire sulle rive di un laghetto ai piedi di una cascata. Raggiungerla non è facile e ci vuole del tempo dato che il sentiero dista circa 1,5 ore da Messina, 2 ore da Palermo e 2,5 ore da Catania. #panorami #sicilia #longexposures #cieli #acqua #fiumi
