Un lucioperca maschio, a guardia del nido. In questo periodo i maschi di questo pesce alloctono, e dal mio punto di vista invasivo, preparano il nido pulendo una parte del fondo dalla vegetazione acquatica. La livrea diventa scura, quasi nera, e aspettano le femmine difendendo la posizione da qualsiasi estraneo.
